Organizer: Together All In Solidarity are raising money for Deaf and DeafBlind People Of Color Organizations in Austin, Texas on May 27th, 2017
DeafBlind Folks of color are often pushed back because of lack of access to communication. Sighted Deaf people do not have an access to this kind of training for socio-economic-racial reasons; because of this, they are unable to provide safe, accessible communication for the DBFoC. No one should be left behind because of their intersectional identities.
This fundraiser is to cover the trainer's expense as well as their interpreter so that they can provide this much needed workshop to the marginalized community.
